VAL AQUA for RAS: Coldep contributes to the BIZON project, led by OxyGuard in Denmark

Coldep contributes to the European BIZON project in Denmark, where its VAL AQUA technology demonstrates, in synergy with ozone, its effectiveness for more sustainable and efficient aquaculture.

Coldep is proud to contribute to BIZON project, an initiative led by OxyGuard International At denmark, and supported by theEuropean Union.
This ambitious project brings together a consortium of scientific and industrial actors committed to more aquaculture sustainable, efficient and environmentally friendly.

🎯 A clear objective: to improve water quality in fish farming

The project BIZON Aims to demonstrate the benefits of using ozone in the systems of aquaculture recirculation (RAS).
The objective: improve water quality, reduce the need for traditional purges and optimize biosecurity farms.

For that, 60 sensors have been installed in order to continuously monitor the key parameters Water:
pH, dissolved oxygen (O₂), ozone, turbidity, temperature...
These measurements make it possible to scientifically assess the effects of this innovative treatment and to objectify the gains in environmental and economic performance.

💧 The role of Coldep: VAL AQUA at the heart of the system

As part of the project, Coldep provided its VAL AQUA technology, integrated at the heart of the treatment system.
The VAL process, based on a principle ofoxygenation and dynamic separation, showed a particularly effective synergy with ozone, amplifying its beneficial effects on water quality.

This combination made it possible to:

improve clarity and stability water,
reduce bacterial load,
reduce renewal needs,
and limit global energy consumption.

These results confirm the robustness and modularity ofthe VAL AQUA, including in demanding and highly instrumentalized environments such as those of the BIZON project.
