Coldep has concluded an agreement to buy the two patents from Ifremer and INSA Lyon.

This acquisition marks an important step, allowing us to develop new versions of these patents in connection with R&D work and feedback from our customers in recent years (especially in the industrial sector).

This investment is being made in a context where Europe is positioning itself as a world leader in the development of new technologies in the water sector. Indeed, an extensive study published yesterday reveals that European applicants have represented 40% of international patent families over the past 30 years, with a strong emphasis on water treatment, which represents around 60% of all patents.Compared to the major groups listed with significant resources (the study logically focuses on veolia, SUEZ or Xylem), we are proud to contribute at our level to this dynamic and to innovate for a more sustainable and efficient future in water treatment. 🌍💧 The article detailing this is accessible here.
