Coldep wins the Inn'Ovals 2024 Grand Prix and the Innovation & Ecological Impact Award

On October 8, 2024, the 43rd edition of the Les Inn'Ovals competition, organized by the AD'OCC agency, honored six particularly innovative companies from the Occitanie/Pyrenees-Mediterranean region. This annual competition rewards projects that embody transformation in its various forms: ecological, energetic, digital and societal.

During this ceremony, which was held at La Cité in the presence of Laurent Chérubin, Councillor of the Occitanie Region, Coldep, a Hérault company specializing in wastewater treatment, distinguished itself by winning two prestigious awards: the “Grand Prix du Jury” and the “Grand Prix du Jury” and the “Innovation & Ecological Impact Prize”.

A double recognition for Coldep

The double trophy won by Coldep recognizes not only its technological innovation in the field of wastewater treatment, but also its ecological commitment. Coldep has developed innovative solutions to eliminate micropollutants, in particular perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), often called “eternal pollutants” because of their high persistence in the environment. These substances, present in many industrial products, have become a critical issue for public health and the preservation of water resources.

The Grand Jury Prize, endowed with €23,000, and the visibility it offers, is a real opportunity for Coldep to consolidate its ties with industrial players, design offices and integrators specialized in water treatment. Sébastien Latz, co-founder of Coldep, took the opportunity to warmly thank the jury, the Occitan Region, and the AD'OCC agency for this recognition, while praising the hard work of his team in carrying out the company's innovative installations.

A competition dedicated to regional innovation

The Les Inn'Ovals competition, which is in its 43rd edition, is one of the major events in the Occitanie region to promote and support businesses that push the boundaries of innovation. Each year, it rewards projects that have a strong impact on the economic and societal development of the region.
