Coldep, Winner of the “Avenir Littoral” Call for Projects 🌊💧

We are proud to announce that Coldep has been selected as the winner of the “Avenir Littoral” Call for Projects, supported by the State and the Occitanie Region, in partnership with BIO-UV. This financing, worth €87,567, will make it possible to implement the MARS project in 2025. A big thank you to Mediterranean Sea Center and at the agency AD'OCC for their support and guidance.

The MARS Project: Towards Sustainable Water Reuse

This project aims to develop an innovative solution for treating water leaving treatment plants (STEP) in order to make this resource reusable for applications such as irrigation and washing. Coldep's VAL technology will be at the heart of this innovation, offering effective pre-treatment to eliminate suspended matter (MES), viruses, bacteria and improve water clarity. In addition, UV treatment will ensure that the water meets regulatory requirements for reuse (REUT).

‍

A Turnkey Solution for Coastal Communities

Our ambition is to provide coastal communities with a complete, energy-efficient and easy-to-use solution to treat large volumes of water at low operational costs. By combining expertise in water treatment and UV technology, Coldep and BIO-UV Group provide a concrete response to the growing needs in water management.

‍

‍

A Special Thank You

Bertrand Barrut (Coldep) and Robin Degrave, PhD (BIO-UV), officially received financial support when the check was handed over by François-Xavier Lauch, Prefect of Hérault, and Christophe Manas, President of the Region's Mediterranean Commission, and Christophe Manas, President of the Region's Mediterranean Commission. This recognition marks an important step in our commitment to sustainable water management.
